Description:

I am looking to cast for a variety of parts for my new short film, Everyday Hero. There is no pay but you will get credit and a copy of the movie.

The film will be shooting around the South Bay area in the months of May and June.

Film Synopsis: A drama/comedy about a 30-year-old comic book nerd who believes he has to fight criminals to make his life mean something but realizes that it is the little things that matter the most.

Below is list of roles we are looking to fill:

EDDIE: 30 year old man; nerdy; likable; underdog
YOUNG EDDIE: 7 - 10 year old young boy; meek, mild-mannered.
FATHER: 35 ? 40 year old man; loving, gentle.
JENNIFER: 25 ? 30 year old woman; girl next-door look, kind, intelligent.
CARL: 30 ? 35 year old man; nerdy office worker; awkward in social situations.
MIDDLE-AGED WOMAN: 35 - 45 year old woman; trashy looking, aggressive.
DON: 30 ? 35 year old man; handsome, athletic, likeable but cocky.
BULLY: 18 ? 20 year old man; tough looking but actually not able to fight very well.
MATT: 13 ? 15 year old teen; nerdy and meek.
MUGGER: 35 - 45 year old man; rough looking.


If you are going to come to an audition date, please bring a resume and a headshot or current photo. It is not required that you have a prepared monologue. However, if you have one prepared, you may audition with it, otherwise you will be doing a cold-read of a script we provide.
