Description:
Steel Beam Theatre in St Charles, is looking to cast an experienced African American actress in her fifties-sixties for an upcoming production.
The role of Mac in Susan Miller's sharply funny 20th Century Blues calls for a witty, smart, opinionated woman - a high-level journalist who lives with her female partner. The plot revolves around four women who've met once a year for decades - the annual photo shoot has chronicled their changing (and aging) selves but now threatens to unveil perhaps too much in a public exhibition. Mac and her friends must now make the decision as a group.

The production runs February 21-March 15, 2020.
