Description:
Casting "Sometimes At Night, I Get So Lonely I Genuinely Consider Re-Joining Scientology," a ten-minute fictional short produced in the undergraduate Media Arts & Culture Department at Occidental College. Synopsis: The project is sync sound and will be shot on a Sony A7III (4k UHD, color). This film follows David, an ex-Scientologist, as he attempts to reconcile losing his belief system with a new life out in the "real world". With the help of his boyfriend, Tony, David learns that opening up to a new community can actually help him mourn the loss of an old one.
