The story of “Bad Blood” takes place inside a cyberpunk dystopia divided into socioeconomic factions known as “Alleys”, much like Time Zones in “In Time” or Districts in “Hunger Games”.

Joshua has tried to make amends ever since, but Milo just sees this as an act. This chain of events led Milo to join Erik’s gang. He’s been up to no good ever since. Milo serves as the machinist for Erik’s gang; weapons, gadgets, etc. |

Joshua claims that his arrest was under false pretenses, but is forbidden from speaking up due to a chip implant in his vocal cords called a “Gag Order,” which prevents him from speaking about the incident or risk forfeiting his own life. Joshua’s guilt has made him look after Milo ever since, but Milo only sees him as a murderer. |
