Description:

The Chicago Theatre Access Auditions (CTAA) exist to advance the visibility of Chicago's non-union actors with the city's Equity and selected non-union theatres. This by-application event invites more than 150+ non-union/non-EMC Chicagoland actors to audition for a wide array of 30+ Equity and Non-Equity companies in a single day.

You must meet this criteria in order to apply:
-Adult (18+) NON-UNION/NON-EMC performers who reside in the greater Chicagoland area
-You are not currently enrolled as a full-time student

If you are a member of the EMC program, a member of Actors Equity, a full or part-time student, or permanently reside outside of the greater Chicago area, you are not eligible to attend at this time.

APPLICATIONS FOR CTAA 2020 WILL BE OPEN UNTIL SUNDAY, OCTOBER 13TH, 2019 @10PM. NO LATE APPLICATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED.

Applicants that fill out their application will receive their application status via email in December 2019. You'll get an email that says you are INVITED TO AUDITION, WAITLISTED, or ENCOURAGED TO APPLY NEXT YEAR. ​If your HSR file is NOT formatted correctly to the specifications outlined in the application, you will NOT receive ANY email that confirms your application status. NO exceptions. Please follow directions! All Invited actors will be assigned an audition slot for January 27, 2020.
