BrightSide Theatre, Naperville's Only Professional Theatre Performing in the Historic Downtown District is auditioning for STEEL MAGNOLIAS, written by Robert Harling, and Directed by Madeline Franklin.

Audition Dates:
Sunday, October 20 - Monologues only (Callbacks by invitation only on Monday, October 21 - We will pair actors for cold readings of scenes.)
TIME: 7-10 pm (All Actors must be 18+)

We are seeking actors of all backgrounds, ethnicities, able to commit to the entire length of this production. BrightSide Theatre is an equal opportunity employer and full consideration will be given to actors of all ethnicities, women, seniors and actors with disabilities.

Time Commitment:
STEEL MAGNOLIAS will play MARCH 6-22, 2020 on Fridays/Saturdays at 8pm and Sundays at 3 pm at the Theatre of Meiley-Swallow Hall also on the campus of North Central College.
ACTORS MUST BE AVAILABLE FOR ALL OF TECH WEEK AND ALL PERFORMANCES.

Rehearsals will begin mid JANUARY with evening rehearsals (typically Sundays 6-9 pm and Mondays through Thursdays from 7-10 pm) in Downers Grove. Both the rehearsal studio and performance space are easily accessible by way of Metra.

Material To Prepare:
Bring headshot/resume. Prepare 1-2 minute comedic/dramatic monologue.
