SYNOPSIS:
Wife’s Tale is a quirky drama centering on Jennifer Reyes, the 9-year-old girl, who loves playing with her grandma’s old rocking chair. Grandma Ita attempts to keep Jennifer from playing with the prized heirloom by reciting an old wife’s tale, “Rock an empty chair; break your mother’s back”. However, when a drunken honeymoon leads to her mom’s death, Jennifer feels responsible. Jennifer soon goes down the proverbial rabbit hole and undergoes a transformation, finding solace in the mortician’s son.
