"PENANCE"

Nearing his imminent death, a lifelong criminal, Virgil, is mysteriously given a second chance at life to redeem himself. When he learns his sister has been kidnapped, he goes after the man responsible, his Kingpin boss, Natas. Will Virgil walk the path of righteousness to save his sister, or will he kill everyone in his way?
Student "Thesis Film" looks for interested, local actors to fill the following roles:

Virgil (protagonist) male, 25-45: lonely, forsaken, close to death and hoping for redemption
Natas (antagonist), male, 35-55: cold, ruthless, underworld boss
Candy (Natas' Trick), female, 20-35: forlorn, forgotten, abused
Will (caregiver/angel), male, 25-45: caring, gracious, mysterious giver of second chance
Sadim (Natas' Main Henchman), male, 25-45: big, lethal, loyal, former sidekick of Virgil
Helen (Paris' Wife), female, 35-45: angry, sad, alone, wife of Man framed by Virgil
Virgil's Mother, female, 45-65: disgusted, indifferent, wanting to disown Virgil
Beatrice (Virgil's Sister), 18-30: young, innocent, affected by Virgil's decisions

Non-Speaking Roles (Silent Bits & Extras)
Thugs 1,2 & 3 (Sadim's Henchmen), males, 20-50: armed, dangerous, intimidating
Men & Women, 18+: club patrons, bystanders and pedestrians
Exotic Dancers, 18+: dancing in small club scenes
