Interested in joining Chicago's fiercest QUEER youth ensemble?
Auditions for award-winning About Face Youth Ensemble are open to anyone ages 12-23. In the fall, our workshops will offer professional artistic training in a variety of theatrical topics: from voice and speech work, to acting for film, to devising work from personal narratives, to negotiating theatre businesses and industry contracts, and more. In the spring, we will be building and rehearsing a showcase of original work. Most importantly, every week we will be building community and a support system for our tight-knit ensemble of QUEER YOUTH!
Time Commitment:
Saturdays from 12-3pm every week between October 26th - December 14th; resuming in March for spring session.
Material To Prepare:
A 2-3 minute original piece that shows us something of who you are; more details upon inquiry!
