Haven is seeking submissions for specific roles in TITUS ANDRONICUS, the first production of the 19/20 mainstage season. Director: Ian Martin. Assistant Director: Ada Alozie

Characters:
TITUS ANDRONICUS - Black; 40's to 60's. General of the Roman army and father of Lucius and Lavinia. Has been at war for 10 years and has just come home victorious. He is a violent and virile man who upholds old traditions and will stop at nothing to avenge his loved ones. Titus has a larger than life presence, acts ferociously on impulse, and is totally unapologetic.

SATURNINUS - Black; 20's to early 30's. Eldest son of the former Emperor of Rome. Appointed as new Emperor with the assistance of Titus. He is spoiled and reeks of ego and privilege. Saturninus shows little concern for others and marries Tamora who is the captive Queen of the rival Goths that Titus has just defeated.

AARON - Middle Eastern or Latinx; 20's - 40. The lover of Tamora captured in war by Titus. He is a master manipulator and extremely self righteous. Aaron is a man scorned and othered by all of society. He is instrumental is making Tamora's wish for revenge come true.

Pay: $700 for the entire production

1st Rehearsal - Monday, December 9th, 2019
Designer Run - Saturday, February 1st, 2020
1st Tech - Saturday, February 8th, 2020
1st Preview - Thursday, February 13th, 2020
Opening - Tuesday, February 18th, 2020
Closing - Saturday, March 14th, 2020
Possible Extension Closing - Saturday, March 21st, 2020

Rehearsals are Monday - Wednesday from 6:00 PM - 10:00 PM and Saturdays from 12:00 PM - 5:00 PM.

There will be no rehearsal December 22nd, 2019 - January 5th, 2020.
