Description:
This series is about a Meetup Group called, "Adventurous/Active Latinas of The Valley". This series tells the story of 6 women and the bond they create through attending weekly Meetup Group Events. The goal of this Group is, to do activities that promote the mind or body. From hiking, to reading a book, to jogging, to duck feeding at the local park, this group of Latinas embark on some unusual activities each week. Paula and Mayra Ramirez are sisters who have never been very close. Growing up together they never saw eye-to-eye on anything. Years later when their mom was dying of Breast Cancer, she made the two sisters promise they will make a real attempt at having a closer relationship. In an attempt to bond more, Paula and Mayra decided to join a Meetup group. The series begins with the Ramirez sisters attending their 1st Meetup Group Event.

She's always locked in her room with her face buried in a book. Because of this, she is super awkward around people in general. She's one notch away from being a full blow germaphobe. She carries wet wipes and sanitizer around everywhere she goes. She continuously applies sanitizer throughout her day sevral times. She goes through one industrial size bottle of sanitizer a month. |

Mayra is known as the "Pretty Party Girl". Mayra is a Dance major and wants own her own Hip Hop Dance studio one day with her 2 best friends Tameka and Ericka. Mayra is an influencer on Instagram and has 120,000 followers. No one in the Meetup Group believe her followers are real but no one is bold enough to say it to her face. Mayra is always telling stories about how "her fans" recognize her in public, how the paparazzi secretly follows her, and how many autographs she signed that day. She is truly on another planet when it comes to her real life and her social media persona. |
