Description:
June tells the story of an elderly man’s battle against aging and psychological sickness, as his wife lies on her deathbed without him by her side. Even after his children decide to place his wife under Hospice care for the remainder of her life, he still attempts to live independently and continues to conceal his struggles with Alzheimer’s. Without the assistance of his dying wife, mental illness becomes an alternate universe and escape for the elderly man. Once his Alzheimer’s is exposed, he chooses to live within his memories of happiness and reminiscences of pleasure, instead of embracing the problem.
