Description:
Revolution Chicago is a lighthearted the story about how a modern genre of music, House Music grew out from the streets of Chicago into a worldwide lifestyle. Even though the trials and tribulations are central as to how the genre came to be, there is a comic twist along the way. We are seeking actors of all ethnic backgrounds and if you have great comic timing and physical comedy skills that's a plus. The Chicago music scene is already talking about the play. The Music score is by Grammy Nominee Mickey Oliver and Lidell Townsell. This producer's last show ran at Planet Hollywood, Las Vegas.
Time Commitment:
Rehearsals: July 17th-August 31st
Tech: September 3rd-September 4th
Previews: September 4th- 5th
Opening Night: September 6th
Performances: September 6th-Sept 29th (Thursday-Sunday)
Possible Extension: October 31st-November 3rd (Thursday-Sunday)
