Description:
Sugar Rich is a film story about a young hispanic guy who finds major success in Hollywood as an actor, just to see it mean nothing when his wife and main supporter is killed. Now he, Felix must come to grips with life. He must wrestle life to understand the big questions for meaning and most of all, he wrestles life for himself. Even in the wrestling of life he finds aid in the help of an madam/donut shop owner.. Sugar Rich, lite: This particular scene, is our tragic hero, finally finding solace and a place to rest in Jasmine. This is in true storytelling, when our hero meets the sage to understand the journey ahead. The converse over breakfast in her home, for we really get to know people when we dine with them.

(For the sake of those who haven’t/can’t read the full script). The previous pages reveal is comeuppance from a nobody to a star. He meets a beautiful redhead named Elizabeth. Felix is married shortly thereafter and throughout the dissolves of montage they live, for a moment, in happiness. But that happiness is short lived. His wife, Elizbeth, diagnosed with cancer, is killed in a car accident. From there nothing can remove his resolve of grief. After months of melancholia and treatment upon his person as a small child, he burns down his house and all of his possessions. That particular night he drives into 24 hour donut shop and meets Jasmine, the proprietor of the donut shop. Now it should be noted that Felix is a huge movie star. |

Before the internet, Sugar Rich was a beautiful well fed secret amongst Hollywood and the west coast elite. It was a whorehouse, on the beautiful highway leading up to San Francisco and further into Oregon. Jasmine was a madame. That former occupation alone should tell you everything there is to know. How tough is she to run a brothel, what lies did she tell the girls, to keep them there, if any at all? What comfort spilled onto her bosom? She was the best madame in the land. A regal woman with self respect, She is lonely. She is a mother hen, and willing to adopt anybody. Like Felix she was married. But her husband, Benny has since been dead from old age for about a decade.. Her son was killed in the Iraq war. |
