Heritage Theatre Company is casting for A Night in the Theatre by Lawrence Casler. Performance dates will be August 30 and 31, 2019 at Lewis University's Philip Lynch Theatre, One University Pkwy, Romeoville IL, 60446. Auditions will be held on Monday, July 29, 2019 6:30-9:30 at the theatre. Rehearsals Monday through Friday 6:30-9:30. This is a non-equity casting notice and there is no pay. Nothing to prepare. Looking to fill the following roles:
STANLEY: His personality matches his clothes, obnoxious. Acts more knowledgeable than he really is. Married to Margaret.
MARGARET: Easily distracted, loud, bothersome to others. Doesn't understand the play. Married to Stanley.
DONNA: Is only there to be with her friends. Not interested in the play. Wears "noisy" jewelry. Married to Walter.
WALTER: The one who plans these evenings. Tries to explain the play to the others, to no avail. Married to Donna.
