|Trey||Male||Any Ethnicity||25-30||Baritenor (C3 to A4) Carter's best friend and part of his posse, along with Dan and Nat. He is a bold, egotistical, and smooth womanizer, with a crude attitude. Although in a committed long distance relationship with Liz, he constantly commits, what appears to be, acts of unfaithfulness with others. Trey represents the player at a heavily exaggerated level. Vocal Comparisons to R. Kelly or Ne-Yo, and must be able to pull off a clean rock voice.|
|Dan||Male||Any Ethnicity||25-30||Tenor (A2 to B4 Comfortably) Another member of Carter's troupe. A recent widower, Dan is a caring and compassionate gentleman, who is looking for the perfect partner. He is the only character who is open about his career as a singer and song writer. His sensitivity and nice guy attitude often puts him at odds with Trey. Versatile voice required. Vocal comparisons to David Archuleta or Adam Lambert.|
|Nat||Female||Any Ethnicity||18-24||Soprano (B3 to E5) The only female in Carter's group of friends. She is a genuinely nice girl, who is very pretty, though she doesn't believe it herself. She has a very obvious crush on Carter, who is oblivious to it. She is very confrontational around Carter's ex Oli. Pretty voice with a solid belt is required.|
|Oli||Female||Any Ethnicity||25-30||,Alto (Ab3 to C5) Carter's recent ex. She is a cruel person, who antagonizes Carter and his friends to extreme levels whenever possible. A Self-obsessed red head with fiery personality, Oli represents the stereotypical bitch. Vocal comparisons with Sara Bareilles or Norah Jones with power.|
|Liz||Female||Any Ethnicity||18-24||Early 20s, Mezzo Soprano (Bb3 – D5) Trey's naïve girlfriend. She does not live in the city, but is still very much in love with him.
