Director: Dima Sbeitan. New TriSphier Studios along with NYFA M.F.A graduates is in pre-production for a thought provoking and astonishing film that will be sent to more than a hundred festivals including Sundance, Cannes, Venice and depending on our actors, the Oscars for best live action short.
New TriSphier Studios and NYFA is currently seeking actors for auditions that will be taking place on Monday, July 16th.
Shooting dates will be: 23rd of July until the 30th with a possiblity of shooting date ending on the 27th.

A family of Palestinian-American musicians are faced with the difficult moral decision of having to accept their Israeli daughter-in-law, knowing religion, cultural and polital reasons behind both nations affects the person one really loves, whilst also coping with the death of their future-son-in law who is dractically and horrendously killed by a suicide bomber, during his visit to his home country of Palestine after a five year absence. By expressing their sorrows through their music, they find acceptance and hope for a better future of co-existence.

The couple married in New York and had two children. Marcel is an activist who wants to return to Palestine. Marcel is an open-minded and not religious person who believes in human rights and equality. He has nothing against Jews, but harbors significant negative feelings about Israeli Zionism.|

He is closer to his mother than his father who he feels has never understood him. He is not the typical Palestinian guy, but if you are an Arab you will be able to trace the Arabic blood in him. Although he has a good voice, he doesn't enjoy singing very much. His last visit to Palestine was more than 5 years ago, prior to the last Intifada. He was able to see his family there and bring them back with him for his wedding with Bissan. He is a calm, very peaceful and mature person. He loves Bissan and the person that she is and her family is like his own. He likes to get high with Bissan and spend their nights playing music, laughing, talking about the future, and dreaming about getting back to the holy land.|

She believes one day things will be better and people will live in peace. She has tried to make Ibrahim's parents accept her, but nothing has worked so far. She is in love with Ibrahim, will never let him go, and believes that they are meant to be together.|
