Brightfilms will be shooting a non-union independent Feature film in Toronto in late July into August 2012.
Synopsis:
I Wish You Love...
Lidia, an immigrant living in Toronto, struggles to raise her teenage daughter on her own. Holding two jobs trying to make ends meet, she still maintains a passion for life and her music.
A chance encounter with a successful business man changes her life. This is a story about love, passion and perseverance.
We are looking for the follow;
LIDIA: (Lead) Caucasian, late 30's - early 40's
Lidia came to Canada from Eastern Europe. She is a single mom, raising her teenage daughter. Lidia is kind, spiritual and romantic.
She works two different jobs, as a salesperson at a women's clothing store, and as a singer in the restaurant. ( she has a Slavic accent)
