ABOUT SUPER4ORCE - Jake, Wanda, TJ and Joe are four average teens (13-15yrs) who discover special abilities in themselves after a science fair experiment in school goes terribly wrong. Once they have gotten over the initial shock, they learn to embrace their abilities and form “Super4orce”.
Together they do good and try to help the people around them. But along they way, they stumble across other kids from school who have developed strange abilities. As they solve these mysteries, the children find themselves caught in something sinister. With only one chance of escape, will the Super4orce team prevail or are their super hero days over? The common thread through all the stories is about self-discovery, youth empowerment, adventure...and most importantly friendship.

However, Jake has always felt marginalized, as people around him tend to leave him after a while. This is probably due to Jake’s “super bad luck”. Jake believes that bad luck is drawn to him like a magnet, and that is why he is always getting himself and the people around him into trouble. Due to his lack of human interaction, Jake has grown to be a quiet and insecure person, always thinking that he may not be good enough for anyone around him, except for his best friend TJ, who has never minded getting into trouble. But it is his insecurity and need for people’s acceptance that drive him to always try his best and be- come a better person. |

A beautiful girl who doesn’t realize her own beauty, Wanda does not like mixing much with people and prefers to remain an outcast. She does things by her own rules and prefers the company of books to that of friends. Thus, Wanda is always seen buried in all sorts of books – literature, science, user guides, etc. Despite her tough and hardened exterior, Wanda is still a typical girl who wants a little attention from someone. She yearns for people to accept her as who she is, and she is so afraid of having to shed her identity just to fit in. However, there are times when the loneliness is tough to handle. |
| TJ | Male | Asian | 11-14 | If there were an award for being lovable and “slap-able”, it would have to go to TJ. This overweight kid is all heart, and it can be seen in how he tries out for school sports despite his weight. He is rather active, and physically trains a lot for a “plump” boy. The problem is he also eats a lot for a normal person. His behavior also switches from normal, sensible kid to bring a clumsy, blur goon. Being ridiculed for most of his young life, TJ never judges others, and is friendly to anybody, which is why he was able to break through to Jake, and remain friends with him until today. TJ is always able to see the upside of things, but un- derneath that happy-fun, candy shell of his lies a fear of being stuck in his body forever. |
| Joe | Male | Mixed | 11-14 | Joesephus (Joe) is a typical overachieving student. He is the way he is because he was brought up to never fail. His parents had a hard life, so they constantly make sure that Joe never misses any opportunity to become a better student/individual. Between school, tui- tion, CCAs, homework and chores, Joe as learnt to be the ultimate juggler. Joe is always grateful for what his parents provide him, but he also wishes he had more time to do the things he wants to. Joe actually has a dream to write his own science fiction novels, but he keeps getting bogged down with things his parents dub as “substantial”. Sometimes, Joe worries that he will never be able to live out his dreams, and will always be forced to do what his parents wish him to do. Nevertheless, Joe never complains and does as he is told. Joe’s lack of courage makes this skinny, bespectacled boy a constant target for bul- lies in school, especially the meanest bully, Big Ed. All this pressure sometimes makes Joe wish he could disappear to somewhere else in a blink of an eye. |

Vincent would go out on hikes on his own to seek out interesting and exciting places, playing out stories in his mind. One day, a mysterious shockwave of unknown origins knocks Vincent off his feet and renders him unconscious. When Vincent came to, he appears fine and nothing un- usual has happened to him. In a couple of days, Vincent returned to his adventurous trips. On that fateful day, Vincent fell down and injured himself greatly. With his leg bone broken and his skin filled with scrapes and bruises, Vincent tried to will himself up after his calls for help brought no one. In his effort to get gently lift up his leg, Vincent accidentally healed himself, and by the time he got up, Vincent was good as new. |
