Description:
Living to die is a short film about an elderly man and middle-aged in-home nurse who cope with each others fears in the midst of racial tension.
Rita - Female, 45-55, African-American, larger build
-Rita is a seasoned in-home nurse. Until recently, she's loved her career. It's been very fulfilling. Lately, she's been very bitter and crass at work. She enters Vincent's life broken. She must decide if this is still the life she wants.
Vincent - Male, (Playing age) 80-90, Caucasian, frail body, white hair
- Vincent is a widow and war vet who has been under nurse's care for many years now. His fear of death lingers over his shoulders as he ages. His lifelong racist personality is put to the test as an African - American nurse is put in charge of his care.
