Just posted today (Feb 21) and will soon be updating with videos and more information. (I have some external funding, so do not be uneasy).

Auditions are Sat. Mar 3rd from 2-5pm and then Tues Mar. 6th from 5:30-8:30pm in the South Loop. Exact location will be decided soon. Interested individuals should contact me at: thepiedpipers2012@gmail.com, with a resume, headshots, and links to any material that they've appeared in.

Synopsis:
Jasper Silsby, a slightly awkward but compelling young man from the fictional Chicago suburb of Owensboro, relocates to the city in search of a job as a photographer, as he feels like he has been growing up in a quasi-rural "box". Having no luck finding the work he set out for, he instead takes up a job at a film camera and print shop run by a St. Louis-sounding, overbearing salesman. One night, Jasper falls asleep at the desk in the shop and awakens to a knocking from a mysterious character who needs some old film developed. Unbeknownst to both of them, they share a surprising link that proves to shift Jasper's entire perspective on his upbringing, and reconsider his move to Chicago.

Roles (main):
Jasper Silsby: Caucasian, male, 19-24, thin: a compelling, but awkward young man with a passion for photography and models from old nudie magazines.
Alfred Ralston: African-American, male, 40-56, average: a suave gent with a workman's past. Al is trying to relive a joyous and edgy part of his life by having Jasper develop some old film.

Roles (side):
J. Harris Silsby: Caucasian, male, 30-36, average: a hard-working union pipe fitter and Jasper's father. He harbors a secret.
Escher Silsby: Caucasian, female, 28-34, average/thin: a librarian and Jasper's mother.
Dusty: Caucasian, male, 40-60, average build to moderately heavy-set: Jasper's overbearing and unpleasant boss.
Young Jasper: Caucasian, male, 8-12, a quirky boy with a love of perusing his father's Playboys, and the victim of an awkward kiss.
Young girl, Dani: Caucasian, female, 8-12, a sweet and pretty girl who is taken with Jasper, and gives him his first kiss
Assorted workmen (masons, pipe fitters), any race, 32-38, revelrous and experimental lads with the guise of an everyman
