A curious young boy gives a disenchanted old man a second chance at being father when he and his mother’s camping trip is cancelled.

Jason challenges Jed’s conception of parenthood by piecing together the puzzle of his life and forcing him to face the truth of why he’s grown so alone over the years.
Jason	Male	Any	8-10	A curious and perceptive young boy who’s very close with his mother, Camille, a caretaker for the elderly. When a planned camping trip goes awry, Jason must spend the day with one of Camille’s crotchety patients, Jed. Jason uses his wits and imagination to not only keep himself preoccupied throughout the day, but also to “investigate” and piece together the enigmatic story of Jed’s life.
Camille	Female	Any	35-40	A loving but very busy single mother to her son, Jason. She’s a caretaker for the elderly and her main patient, Jed, keeps her hands very full. Her work and private life collide when she not only has to cancel a planned weekend camping trip with Jason, but also bring him into work and navigate how to make the best out of her day “off" with her son while still taking care of Jed, who never makes anything easy.
