Living in the “Hood” may not seem so appealing to many good Samaritans, but to a couple young “crackers” it is quite comical and noteworthy. Living in a predominately black “territory” brings many risks and fruitful endeavors. See the hood through the eyes of “white chocolate” along with his friends as they explore and examine life in the five points territory of Denver, Colorado.

Join the ride through the five points of Denver and the “East Side” where some serious ghetto activity takes place. The occasional crack head and/or ex-con wino walk the streets 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year, but not to worry… the Latino community occupies about every 10th home per block with 10 hard working individuals comfortably nested inside, and the white folks are scarcely peppered throughout. Although the bus stops, liquor stores, and crack houses are a great scenic view as well as vibrant action packed hot spots. The hood is a really nice place to coexist.

Residing at 3438 St. Paul “white chocolate” aka Andrew and Matt also “white chocolate” voyeuristically watch as exciting events unravel on the block. Andrew is quite interested in the sexual preferences of his roommate, friends, and hood neighbors. Matt is a young adventures experimental individual that is willing to explore the boundaries of life. Andrew poses many questions to his friends on their personal boundaries and limits. “White chocolate” and his rambunctious “cracker” crew travel through day-to-day existence in the hood examining the life choices that surround them.

The stylistic approach is to capture real life call and response reactions of what the hood looks, feels, and sounds like. The goal is to mix in real characters with lead lines, and partial scripted set-up scenarios. The story line will be driven by the voyeuristic point of view, the “outsiders” perspective. The form is meant to have a “real” comedic method.

Topless is exactly what it sounds like, an exploration of white boys living amongst an old and new generation of neighbor “hood” characters. Allowing for limitless possibilities to unravel before your very eyes. The context has multiple sexual sub-text references, such as would you or would you not… welcome to “Licking the Armpit”.
