Description:
Theo Ubique Cabaret Theatre is holding June 29-30 auditions for "Hello Again," by Michael John LaChiusa, to be Directed/Choreographed by Brenda Didier, and Music Directed by Jeremy Ramey. Based on the 1897 play "La Ronde" by Arthur Schnitzler, the musical focuses on a series of love affairs among ten characters during the ten different decades of the 20th Century. Seeking six men and four women. All actors play a number of roles of varying types, with one primary role. Seeking strong dramatic actors with exceptional voices and strong musicianship skills. All roles are available.
Auditions are Saturday, June 29, from 10-4pm, and Sunday, June 30, from 1-5pm, at United Church of Rogers Park 1545 West Morse.
Time Commitment:
Rehearsals start August 20; Performances are September 13 to November 3, 2019.
Material To Prepare:
Please prepare a brief, contemporary musical theatre song. Bring sheet music; accompanist provided. Please bring your book. You may be asked to sing a 2nd song. Please bring a picture and resume, stapled together. Auditions are held in hour-long slots in groups of 15.
