Director: TBA. For every earth-shattering discovery like the lightbulb or penicillin there are thousands of inventions that have crashed and burned on an epic scale. This fast-paced new magazine series explores inventions, past and present: the absurd, the amazing and the unbelievable. This light-hearted series presents them all with humour, with a host who morphs between cheeky and straight-man delivery ... timing can be everything in the world of inventions, and so too for our host.
We're looking for an entertaining host for this new show. The ideal candidate has a great sense of humour, is personable, sarcastic, curious and has a passion for the quirky. This is for the PILOT ONLY - once green lit shooting will start in 2012 for 13 eps.
RATE:
-$600/day (negotiable dependent on experience)
-Shooting in Vancouver - prod will cover flights and accomm.
