Hello,
My name is Yvette Chou, casting assistant on Sean Yap's student thesis film "Medium" from Chapman University. We are currently looking for background actors to fill the roles of Master Fatt's "Kept Women" that you can find the descriptions below AS WELL AS OTHER EXTRAS to fill the roles of businessmen and women, housewives and venders. Please contact us if you're interested in either the "Kept Women" or the other extra roles.
We will be shooting November 4-6 in Westminster, CA. Please let me know which dates you are available. To be clear this is a non-paid position but we will be providing meals, credit on IMDB, and a DVD copy of the film.

| Master Fatt\'s \"Kept Women\" (We need 5-6!) | Female | Asian | Any Age | Gigi is a rather well-off businesswoman and stands out amongst the other "Family members" in Master Fatt's apartment through her matronly demeanor and commanding charisma. She's a serious figure and is often seen coordinating the activities occurring in and around the apartment. Here's the catch to Gigi: she is married, but she is having an affair with Master Fatt in order to reap from his promises of wealth and success. Gigi is having a conflict of morals and interest, which is why she appears standoffish in the face of others. The only thing that might be of concern regarding Gigi is that in the middle of the film, Yen, the protagonist, catches Master Fatt in his bedroom with about 5 or 6 girls, including Gigi. No nudity is involved and none of the girls need to be engaging in any sexual activity. Rather, by the time the door opens, they all notice her and they freeze in position, caught in the act. In terms of wardrobe in this scene, the girls might either be in their bras (pants still on) or wrapped in the sheets with a tank top on, at the most. Others might be in small tank tops and mini shorts. |
