"The Battle" is a stage play created to show the devastating effects of personal choices. Set in Washington, D.C., a city noted for having the highest rate of HIV and AIDS in the United States. A production that provides an artistic view of the different ways those inflicted with the disease choose to cope. "The Battle" shows the trials and tribulations that friendships and relationships endure as a result of the epidemic.
Two dance groups, a Technical dance group and a Vogue dance troupe. Prepare to compete in the major dance competition benefiting HIV and AIDS research. Feeling that their style of dance isn't enough to win the competition alone. Each group hatches a plan to get the other group to teach them their technique. While preparing for the competition members of each dance group discover new things about their own HIV statuses.
