Hello, we are Doublet Productions. We are working on a student produced short Buddy Film, comprised of three 3minute episodes.

Arlo, a recent retiree and widower, and Liam, recently laid off and also a widower, are fishing. They decide it’s a waste of time, decide to give it up forever, and throw in their poles. They decide to start living it up, partying and hanging out with their happenin’ grandsons, giving them money all the time so all the kids love hanging out with them. After a drunken misunderstanding at a College party, Liam saves Arlo from a fight. After all that, they decide its all just too much, and the next day they end up giving up the partying life, throw their “iphones” out their car window and go back to fishing.

**We are not particular about the ages, as long as you look the part.

These roles are all unpaid, food will be provided on longer shoot days and all involved will receive a copy of the final project. We will be holding auditions for all six of these roles on October 22, 2011 from 12-5pm at The Art Institute of Dallas (8080 Park Lane).
