'A group of young people around the globe are brought closer by technology -yet still can't manage to communicate'
We are looking for actors for a 13-episode web series (all episodes will be shot together and uploaded weekly onto a website).
This is an unpaid project but it is a series from writers for actors! - the project involves actors talking directly to the camera and displaying their abilities in conversations for 3 minutes. The material will be ready quickly and particularly suited for demo reels.
There is no specific scene to prepare; we ask you to film yourself talking to the camera as one of the characters. You can borrow any dialogue from a movie if that helps! If you choose to improvise you can talk about your day, or your likes/dislikes as if you were the character. All we want is to see you playing that personality.
Be sure you are comfortable with acting staring at the camera!
Upload the video to a website of your choice (Youtube, Vimeo. . .) and send us the link to disconnectedSGP @ gmail.com
Following guidelines will be essential during the shoot. Please show you are capable of this starting with the rules below to avoid being disqualified.
- Do not audition for more than one role.
- Do not include headshots, demo reel, etc -only the video.
- Length: under 3 mins.
- Make sure that you are fully satisfied with your video before uploading it!
