"COCAINE" a one-act by PENDLETON KING Synopsis: A couple of wayward souls are out of options and down to their last fix; desperate they contemplate their own end. Male Lead, JOE: African American (early-mid twenties), handsome and well-built; a washed up boxer and addict subsisting on the support of his girlfriend Nora (a prostitute) for the next fix. Female Lead, NORA: Caucasian (mid-late twenties), a plain beauty; writer turned prostitute to support a cocaine habit shared with her boyfriend Joe, for whom she's willing to make any sacrifice, if it keeps him from walking out on her. "NIGHT ROBBERY" a one-act by MARINE SIALELLI Synopsis: When a wealthy divorcee is visited by an art loving burglar in the wee hours before dawn, he plays the willing victim in exchange for much needed companionship. In the process both men confront the absurdity of their own existence. GEORGE: Caucasian Male (middle-aged), well-off, in the midst of a bitter divorce and on the brink of losing it all, seeks companionship as he confronts the failings of his own unfulfilled life and the prospect of starting over again. FRANK: Caucasian Male (middle-aged), a bungling art thief, sensitive about his professional faults; a better listener than crook. *ALL parts are NON-PAID and NON-UNION.
