Alisandra Karimullah (writer/director) is casting for “Clean House,” a short film for the Brooklyn College Film Department. Rehearsals will run throughout October; the shoot will be late October possibly into November. SAG/Non-SAG. No pay; DVD, transportation, and meals will be provided. “Clean House” is the story of Lila, a 20-year-old girl who is complacent about the sexual relationship she has with her uncle to the point where she sees the abuse as love. Because she is so seasoned to her uncle’s affection in this way, when the abuse is passed onto her younger brother, Lila becomes enraged with jealousy. Feeling deeply betrayed, she decides to teach her uncle a lesson.
