Synopsis: When a vacationing family’s car breaks down in the middle of nowhere, the youngest member, twelve year old Matty Downing, tries to keep the bickering grownups from sabotaging their own chance at survival. However, he soon discovers that due to their egos, their unchecked flaws and their refusal to work together, the family’s chances of actually making it home alive are dangerously close to nil. “When Dinosaurs Ruled the Earth” is an allegorical family drama that is sharply satirical, poignant and at times borders on the bizarre.
