Description:

Set in a post-apocalyptic future, Ezekiel, 35, drives along an abandoned, dusty highway. Suddenly he pulls over to the side of the road. As he gets out of the car, he pulls out a shovel, walks into a vacant field and begins digging a small hole. As he returns to the car he pulls out a large plastic bag containing what appears to be a small body. As he begins to walk back to the grave site, a clawed, alien hand sudden breaks through the bag and begins to strangle him...

Struggling with the loss of his family and his own uncertain future, Ezekiel's journey is one of revenge and hatred. But will his futile and vengeful quest become his own undoing, or will it be the beginning of something far greater?

“Exile” is an excellent opportunity for any actor as it is a solo piece based on a strong character-driven script. A performance that would look good on any show reel. The story is also highly stylized, and also includes the use of special effects, compositing work and locations, all of which will create high production value.

Please note this is a NON-PAYING job, however all expenses will be covered by the production.

“Exile” is scheduled to shoot over a period of 3 days, from the 3rd October – 5th October. The shooting location is to be confirmed.

The project is a Griffith Film School production and our crew is comprised mostly of experienced 2nd year students. This project is part of our end of year assessment.

A copy of the DVD will be provided at the end of post-production in early November.

Auditions will be held at Griffith Film School, South Brisbane. Dates and times for auditions will be confirmed upon application.
