Odd's Bodkins is holding auditions for Twelfth Night
Roles to be cast:
Note: Odd's Bodkins is an ensemble-driven company, and certain roles have been pre-filled by ensemble members. The roles not yet cast are listed below.
Actors of all genders, ages and races encouraged to audition. This show will include music sung and performed by cast members.
Olivia - actor of color preferred
Maria - female-identifying actor preferred
Sebastian - curly-haired actors preferred, unarmed combat experience required
Sir Toby Belch - unarmed combat experience required
Sir Andrew Aguecheek - unarmed combat experience required
Antonio - single sword or rapier experience required
Valentine/Officer - single sword or rapier experience required
Captain/Priest - single sword or rapier experience required
Important Info (PLEASE READ CAREFULLY):
Callbacks will take place on the afternoon of Sunday, May 19th. Callback availability improves casting likelihood.
Actors cast will receive a small stipend for performances.

Time Commitment:
Performance Dates are August 30th - Sept 15th, Friday and Saturday evenings, Sunday matinees. Performances will take place at the Frontier Theater in Edgewater.
Rehearsals will begin in late May through August, mostly on weeknights (Mon-Thurs) and Saturday afternoons. Most actors will only be called to rehearsal 2 or 3 times a week initially, with call frequency increasing in August.
Some rehearsals will take place outdoors in public Chicago Parks spaces. In case of inclement weather, back up indoor locations will be given in advance and rehearsal locations will be confirmed with enough notice prior to rehearsal.
Rehearsal conflicts are okay with advance notice; show conflicts may invalidate casting. Please notify the director of conflicts as soon as possible.
Material To Prepare:
60-90 seconds of any Shakespeare monologue, not including monologues from Twelfth Night.
